You will begin your journey by meeting your guide at your hotel in Arusha or at the airport. Once in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a guided game drive. You will leave the Ngorongoro Crater after spending half a day exploring it. At this hour you will drive to Serengeti National Park, where you will spend the night in the lodge reserved by Tanzania Offroad Trips.
The vast Serengeti National Park has frequently won the award for being the best national park in Africa. You will spend this entire day exploring the so-called “endless plains.” To maximise your chances of spotting the big five game animals and other African Savannah animals, you will take a picnic lunch with you and enjoy a bush meal at midday. In the evening, Tanzania Offroad Trips will reserve a lodge for you in the heart of Serengeti National Park, where you will spend the night.
This is the last day of your 3-day Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari with Tanzania Offroad Trips. You will wake-up very early in the morning, take breakfast, and leave the lodge with packed lunch. The exploration of the Serengeti National Park will continue until around 10 a.m. At this hour you will then exit Serengeti National Park and drive across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha. Your 3-day Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari will end at the destination of your choice in or on the periphery of Arusha. .
Full day exploring the Seronera Valley. The area is rich with predators: lions, leopards, cheetahs, and vast herds of zebra & wildebeest. Picnic lunch at a kopje. Optional evening game drive.
Drive to the Western Corridor, following the Grumeti River. During migration season (June–October), witness dramatic river crossings with massive crocodiles. Year-round resident wildlife: hippos, topi, giraffes.
Head north to the Kogatende area near the Mara River. If the migration is active, you’ll see thousands of wildebeest crossing. Marvel at the concentration of predators. Picnic lunch in the bush.
Descend into the world’s largest intact caldera. Spot the Big Five (including black rhino), thousands of flamingos, and hippos in the pools. Picnic at the hippo lake. Later, ascend to the crater rim lodge for a farewell dinner.
